略论大学生公民意识的培养——基于《思想道德修养与法律基础》课程教学的思考

On Cultivation of Citizen Awareness for College Students——Thoughts Based on Teaching of "Ideological and Moral Cultivation & Law Basis"

公民意识是社会文明发展的一个重要标志。当代大学生作为未来社会建设的中坚力量,应该是具有现代意识的高素质公民。当今大学生群体中出现的一些不良作风和行为倾向,提醒我们应该重视培养大学生公民意识。作为高校法制教育的主要阵地,《思想道德修养与法律基础》课在教学中应承担起培养大学生公民意识的重任,任课教师在具体教学实践过程中应该有意将公民意识的内涵、标准要求等相关内容融入到课堂教学中,并鼓励学生走进社会亲身体验。

Civic Awareness is a significant symbol of the development of social civilization. As a nucleus force of the socialist modernization of China, college students should be the qualified citizens with modem awareness. At present, college students＇ harmful trend and acts warn us about strengthening the cultivation of students＇ civic awareness. As the main foundation of law education, the course of Ideological and Moral Cultivation ＆ Law Basis should play an important role in cultivating college students＇ citizen awareness. Teachers should educate students on the connotation of civic awareness and its standards and requirements, and advise them to experience it in practicing them.
