Wadishang de 'zhanyi'('War' in Low Lying Land) has aroused enormous attention and controversy,because it conceals an imperceptible crack behind a unified explicit theme.This crack is the result from influences respectively from political discourse,enlightenment awareness and classic structure.This paper analyzes the expressions and causes of the complexity of the novel in terms of the exposition of the death of Wang Yinghong,the profundity and paradoxicality of the implications of the word 'war,' the implicit classic love module in the novel,and the author's transition from the traditional discourse to the political discourse.
