The importance of the Texaco coal - water slurry gasifier chamber temperature control was introduced. By using the proposed method, such as the direct measurement of thermocouples, methane contents and temperature of the approximate linear relation, synthetic gas composition tendency, the state of slag and differential pressure of gasifier, the gasifier tempeture could be judged to direct the actual production.
