A Comparison between Women Images in Zhang Ailing and Su Tong’s Novels

张爱玲和苏童虽然不是同一时代的作家,但是他们在描写女性形象方面堪称文学界的两朵奇葩。两人皆不约而同的用犀利的笔锋揭示了被社会扭曲的女性,着重描写了她们性格的丑陋。但是由于张爱玲和苏童性别的差异,两个人在描写女性形象也各有其不同特点。

Although Zhang Ailing and Su Tong are living in different periods,they are both outstanding novelists in literature especially in terms of the women image description.Both of them have revealed the characters of women that had been twisted by the society by their sharp pen,and described the ugliness in their characters.However,due to the gender difference between these two writers,they also have their own features in their woman image description.
