基于ArcGIS的矿产资源类型符号库的设计与实现

Design and Realization of Mineral Resource Type Symbol Library Based on ArcGIS

在矿产资源开发多目标遥感调查与监测项目中,ArcGIS自带的符号库已远不能满足专业需求,须建立新的专业符号库。目前,可用于GIS软件符号库的制作途径主要有4种,本项目地图符号的制作主要采用ArcGIS系统的符号管理器(Style Manager)及Font Creator 5.6字体编辑器2种方法。通过实例介绍了这2种方法的制作步骤及导入方法,及如何建立矿产资源开发多目标遥感调查与监测专题符号库。地图符号库的创建,为在ArcGIS环境中编制专题成果图件提供了极大方便。

In mineral resources exploitation multi-objective remote sensing and monitoring projects, the AreGIS symbol librao can not meet professional demands, thus a new professional symbol library needs to be created. At present, there are 4 ways to make GIS symbol library. The cartographic symbols making in this case is mainly through 2 ways of the Style Manager in ArcGIS system and Font Creator 5.6 font editor. Through examples the author introduced editing steps and lead-in method of the 2 ways, and how to create mineral resources multi-objective remote sensing and monitoring thematic symbol library. The creation of cartographic symbol library has made compiling of thematic maps in ArcGIS very easy.
