Progress in applications of somatostin and its analogues in thyroid associated ophthalmopathy

生长抑素及其类似物是一种调节性多肽,其毒副作用小。近年来发现新的生长抑素类似物,如长效生长抑素类似物和合成的SOM230等,患者耐受性好,越来越广泛的应用于评价和治疗甲状腺相关眼病。通过文献检索评价生长抑素及类似物在甲状腺相关眼病中的基础和临床应用。

Somatostatin and its analogues are a kind of regulatory peptides, their side effects are lower. Newly developed somatostatin analogues,such as some long-acting somatostatin analogues and a synthetic SOM230,have been developed and they have small side effects and good tolerance are well tolerated in the patients with TAO. They are also used widely in the evaluation and treatment of thyroid associated ophthalmopathy in recent years. The literatures are reviewed for evaluation of basic studies and clinical applications of somatostatin and its analogus in treatment of thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy.
