郭震入蜀考

Research on Guo Zhen's Entering into Shu

郭震是唐代著名的军事家和诗人,他于唐高宗咸亨四年(673)十八岁中举后入蜀为通泉尉。在蜀中曾铸钱掠财"以济四方",与著名诗人陈子昂交往,作有著名诗歌《宝剑篇》。因而受到武则天的重视,受召于武则天长寿二年(694)或证圣元年(695)离蜀入京。

Guo Zhen was a noted strategist and poet in Tang Dynasty, who passed the imperial examinations at the provincial level in 673 （the fourth year of Xianheng, Emperor Tang Gaozong）. Then he was appointed as Tongquan lieutenant in Shu. In the disguise of ＂collecting money for poverty relief＂, he gave an order to mint money and accumulated wealth illegally. Influenced by his dose contact with notable poet Chen Zi＇ ang, and he composed the famous poetry Precious Sword which was adored by Empress Wu Zetian. As a result, he was promoted to Beijing in 694 （the second year of Changshou, Empross Wu Zetian） or 695 （the first year of Zhengsheng）.
