A Brief Discussion about the Ancient Chinese Materialism

哲学史可谓人类追求真理的历史,唯物主义是真理,且在哲学思想发展中占主导力量,是哲学史发展的主流。中国哲学的发展史也不例外,然而现阶段有些学者对中国古代有没有唯物主义产生了质疑,对此我们有必要对中国古代唯物主义进行探索,以便我们更好的传承中华民族几千年来创造的灿烂文化。

The history of philosophy can be regarded as the history of human beings seeking for truth. Materialism is the truth, which is the mainstream force in the development of the philosophical thoughts. So is the development of Chinese philosophy. There is nowadays, however, a doubt about the existence of the ancient Chinese materialism among some scholars. Thus it is necessary to probe it thoroughly for a better continuity of the brilliant Chinese ancient cultures of thousands of years.
