摘要
《芳草天涯》是夏衍在抗战胜利前夕应"中术"演员邀请而创作的唯一一部爱情题材的话剧。该剧虽极具艺术价值,但其思想倾向却为人诟病,自发表和演出以来,集中受到三次批评:一是《新华日报》的座谈;二是乐少文的剧评;三是何其芳的责难。其中意见在文学史的书写中有固化的趋势,因此,许多研究者起而反驳,夏衍本人也有辨白。然究其原因,大致有三:一是知识分子的厌战心态与创作困境;二是夏衍独特的美学思想与延安美学的抵牾;三是胡风因素。
Fragrant Grass All Over is Xia Yan's only modern drama of love theme, created by invitation of actors of " Chinese Art Drama" on the victory eve of Sino - Japan War. It is of great artistic value, but its ideological tendency has been criticized for some time. Since its publication and performance, there are three criticisms: 1 ) Xinhua Daily's forum, 2)Yue Shaowen's dramatic critic, and 3 )He Qifang's scolding. Having solidification tendency in writing the history of literature is one of those criticisms, but many researchers began to refute and Xia Yan himself expressed his explanation. There are three major factors: 1 ) the intellectuals'viewpoint of war-weariness and the plight of their creation, 2) the aesthetic disagreement between Xia Yah and Yah'an (official side of that time), and 3) factors from Ha Feng(a literary theoretician).
