面向多媒体系统的负载均衡策略研究

Research on Load Balancing Strategy for Multimedia Systems

随着多媒体应用的普及,面向多媒体应用的并行文件系统负载均衡策略的研究具有现实意义。本文根据视频点播等多媒体应用的特点,提出了面向多媒体应用的并行文件系统动态负载均衡策略,构建了该策略的均衡模型,提出了适于多媒体服务系统的动态调度算法,并对该算法进行了性能分析。最后建立了NFS文件系统负载均衡实验环境,测试了该策略的高效性,充分证明了所提出的面向多媒体应用的并行文件系统负载均衡策略的优势。

As the development of multimedia applications, it is important to conduct the research on load balancing strategy in parallel file system for multimedia applications. According to the characteristic of multimedia applications, this paper proposes a kind of load balancing strategy based on NFS file system. The load balancing model and scheduling algorithm are established. Performance analysis and the experimental results show that this load balancing strategy is suitable to multimedia applications very well.
