It is very important to set the real population regression model correctly in the applied study of econometrics, because it directly determines the reliability of the conclusions about the issue under study. By analyzing the ＂uniqueness＂ of real population regression model, the ＂absolute uniqueness ＂ and ＂ relative uniqueness ＂, and the rationality of econometric methodology in reality, this paper arrives at the conclusion that, with the help of the analysis method and framework in modern economics, simplifying the true economic environment under the restrictions of proposed conditions is conducive to the choice of proper form of model formulae and explanatory variables and decrease the logical problems caused by the ＂relative uniqueness ＂of the real population regression model.
