充分发挥多媒体网络技术优势,培养学生自主学习能力是教学改革的重要发展趋势。网络多媒体环境下大学生自主学习能力的培养是时代的要求,是大学英语的教学目标,也是一种新的教学理念。在理解网络多媒体环境下培养大学生自主学习,其实质是在教与学的过程中,从以教为中心转向以学为中心;从以教师为中心转向以学生为中心,充分发挥学生的主观能动性和创造性。教师应更新思想,帮助学生树立正确的学习目标,探索出合适的学习策略,从根本上转变教学态度和教学方法,从而激发学生的学习动机,达到培养学生自主学习能力的目的。

The most important trend of teaching reform is to train students＇ independent learning ability by means of multimedia and network techniques. Under the network and multimedia circumstance, the development of college students＇ independent learning ability is a need of modem age, a teaching aim of colhge English, and also a new teaching conception. The essence of training students＇ independent learning ability is to shift away the teaching direction from teaching to learning, from teachers to students in the course of teaching and learning, to play students＇ subjectivity and creativity. The teachers should update their idea, help students set reasonable learning goal, search proper learning strategy, change their learning attitudes and methods completely, and inspire their learning motive to reach the aim to develop their independent learning ability.
