摘要
中国近代,西方传教士把办学作为其贯穿始终的传教士方式,而这种传教士方式也对中国近代社会产生了深远的影响。文章梳理了近代西方传教士在华办学历程,据其发展程度和特点可以分为四个发展阶段。进而分析了其对近代中国社会深远影响,首先是冲击了中国传统教育思想和制度,其次加快了中国教育现代化地进程,并且对中国产生了一定的宗教导向。认为其有着重要的积极意义。
