As an important element of landscape architecture, terrain is widely used in public space of Barcelona. Through study and investigation, the form and application of terrain in Barcelona landscape architecture was analyzed from the aspects of slope, flat, terrace, sunk square, step, concluded as drainage, transition and definition of space, hillock and retaining wall, while the function of terrain was and the introduction of people＇s activities.
