摘要
人类Runt相关转录因子3(RUNX3)属于Runt转录因子家族成员,在某些肿瘤中RUNX3蛋白在肿瘤细胞质中异位表达,被认为是导致肿瘤发生发展的另一重要机制。目前认为RUNX3蛋白发挥何种作用取决于其在细胞中的表达部位,当在细胞核中表达时发挥抑癌作用,而在细胞质中表达时则发挥致癌作用。
The ectopic expression of the human runt- related transcription factor 3 ( RUNX3 ) in eytoplasma is found to be a major mechanism for the development of several tumors. It is found that the Runx3 protein may have a dual anti-tumor and pro-tumor activity, which depends on the expression position. It appears that Runx3 may exert anti-tumor effect when it is expressed in the nucleolus, whereas it can have the effects of pro-tumor growth within the cytoplasma. The author will review on the possible regulator mechanisms of the ectopic expression of Runx3 in the initiation, development and progression of tumor cells.
