以时间为序,探讨中国建筑知识界"批评的心智"如何逐步走向开放,如何应对中国与世界之间的关系,并服务于社会建设和知识生产。强调只有健全的心智才能做出健全的批评;建筑批评应以建筑知识的生产为目的;惟有通过知识人的心智提升和积极参与,才能探索出中国模式的建筑发展之路。

This article traces the progressive course of how the spiritual ethos of architecture criticism gradually turned more and more open,how it dealt with the relationship between China and the world, and how it served the society and the production of architecture knowledge.It points out that only wholesome mind can bring about wholesome criticism;the objective of architecture criticism is the production of architecture knowledge;only with the improvement of the quality of intellectuals and their participation can a China model befound out.
