On Herbert Croly's Political Thought and Its Influence on the Progressive Movement

The Progressive Movement,as the national reform of society and politics in America during the late 19^(th) and early 20^(th) century,was made up of different and diverse reform movement.It paved the way for the modern American state -'second founding'.Generally speaking,Herbert Croly was an important advocate and the progressive reformer of the Progressive Movement.His argument is that the progressive democracy by means of New Nationalism.His thought more or less influenced Theodore Roosevelt,Woodrow Wilson,the Progressive Movement,even American politics and society.
