A Priority Access Mechanism for WLAN Performance Optimization

摘要 针对目前WLAN中各种不同业务的不断增多,而不同的业务要求等级也不同的问题,采用将WLAN中不同无线终端设置不同优先级业务的方法,分别对不同的关键参数AIFS和TXOP进行优化。使业务要求较高的无线终端优先接入信道传输数据包,使高优先级的终端获得更高的网络性能。仿真结果表明,该优先级访问机制可以在语音和视频等要求较高的业务情况下,使高优先级业务的无线终端更早的接入信道,有较小的时延和更高的网络性能。 Services of Different types grow rapidly in WLAN, and different services require different priorities. different priority service is sets up to different wireless terminals in WLAN, and optimized the key parameters AIFS and TXOP separately, so wireless terminals with high service requirement can access channel in priority to transmit packages, and terminals with high priority get higher network performance. Simulation results show that when the services require much of audio and video, the proposed priority access mechanism can let wireless terminals with high priority service access channel earlier, and have smaller time delay and higher network performance.
