The insulating property of concrete hollow block is the main index in the building energy efficiency design, can be reflected by thermal resistance and heat transfer coefficient. Using two testing methods direct and indirect can get the insulating property of concrete block and masonry, but the indirect method has significant advantage in developing new products and designing new building structure style.
