闪烁体-光纤组合式辐射探测器γ相对灵敏度研究

摘要 根据光纤光导的耦合理论,推导了闪烁体-光纤组合式探测器γ灵敏度理论公式,计算了LSO、ST401两种闪烁体-光纤探测器的相对灵敏度,在平均能量为1.25MeV的60Co射线源上测得10mm厚LSO闪烁体-光纤组合式探测器的灵敏度是相同厚度ST401的19倍,理论计算和实验结果在不确定度范围内一致。 This work is aimed at developing the technique of multi-channel scintillator-fiber detector. In this paper, theoretical gamma sensitivity of a fiber detector was formulated for calculating the relative sensitivity of LSO and ST401 scintillator-fiber detectors. Outcomes of the calculation were validated by experiment with a ^60Co source. The results show that sensitivity of an LSO scintillator-fiber detector of 10-mm thicknesd is about 19 times higher than the system using ST401 with the same size of LSO detector. The theoretical results agree with the experimental data.
