This paper has analyzed the current Hong Kong＇s Leading Industries development and their scientific and technological needs. It shows that the Hong Kong Leading Industries —— Services is faced with both opportunities and challenges under the global financial crisis. Hong Kong＇s economy has a wide range of needs in information technology, electrical and electronic technology, and manufacturing technology.
