摘要 本文着重研究了用LOG滤波器检测边缘的方法。首先讨论了离散的边缘以及边缘提取中的方向性问题。然后通过对LOG滤波器与Laplacian算子提取边缘的结果进行分析比较,提出了上述两种检测边缘的改进算法。利用这个改进的算法构造了一个较小的5×5模板的LOG滤波器,并显示了其优良的性能,这对于实际应用有重要意义。 Edge detection using LOG filter is investigated in this paper The digital edge and the issues of direction of edge detection are discussed at first Subsequently, by the comparision of the results of edge detection using LOG filter and Laplacian operator, an enhanced algorithm is proposed here Using this algorithm, a comparatively small (5×5) LOG filter is designed and its good performance is displayed, which is quite important for practical applications
