论奎因对塔尔斯基等值图式T的误解

On Quine's Misunderstanding of Tarski's Semeantic Scheme T

众所周知,在塔尔斯基的语义真理论当中有这么一个等值图式T:X是真的,当且仅当P。对此,奎因一方面认为,图式T能够刻画我们关于非语言的"真"之前理论的"符合式"理解的旨意;但是另一方面,奎因等人也认为图式T确切地表达了语言上的"真"谓词的一种"取消力",即"去引号之方法"。其实,这是对塔尔斯基等值图式T的一种曲解,它实际上成了塔尔斯基等值图式T和关于"真的"表达的等值式M的合成品。

It is known that in Tarski＇s semantic theory of truth there is an equivalent scheme T. if only if P, X in true, about which, Quine thinks that it can portray the meaning of our understanding ＂suitable scheme＂ before the theory of non-language ＂truth＂ on the one hand, hut on the other hand that it gives expression to ＂cancellation strength＂ of ＂truth＂ in language, that is, ＂method of removing quotation mark＂. This is actually a misunderstanding of Tarski＇s equivalent scheme T and virtually a synthesis of the equivalent scheme T and equivalent M of ＂being true＂.
