Clinical and Imaging Manifestations of POMES Syndrome

目的探讨POEMS综合征的临床及影像学表现特点,以提高对该病的认识。资料与方法回顾性分析5例已确诊为POEMS综合征患者的临床表现、实验室检查和影像学资料。结果POEMS综合征的主要表现分别为周围神经病变、脏器肿大、内分泌异常、M-蛋白病、皮肤改变和水肿。骨骼改变以骨质硬化为主,或骨质硬化伴溶骨性改变,单纯性溶骨性改变罕见。结论POEMS综合征是一种多脏器损害疾病,临床表现复杂,对可疑病例应进行全面检查。

Objective To discuss the clinical and imaging features of POEMS syndrome.Materials and Meth-ods The clinical manifestations,laboratory results and imaging findings of 5 cases with POEMS syndrome were analyzed retrospectively.Results The major clinical manifestations of 5 POEMS syndrome patients included peripheral neuropathy,organomegaly,endocrinopathy,M protein,skin lesions and edema.Osteosclerotic lesions or osteolytic lesions with sclerosis were the most common changes,and pure osteolytic lesions were rarely seen.Conclusion POEMS syndrome is a rare multisystemic disease with complicated clinical manifestations,doubtful cases should be examined comprehensively.
