泛在无线信号辅助的室内外无缝定位方法与关键技术 被引量:51

Signals of Opportunity Assisted Ubiquitous Positioning and Its Key Elements for Outdoor/Indoor Environment

摘要 针对无缝定位的应用需求和亟待解决的关键技术问题,结合城市环境下多种泛在无线信号可以充分利用的特点,提出了一种泛在无线信号辅助的无缝定位新方法,并对无缝定位技术的原理、特点和发展趋势进行了讨论。特别针对香港典型城市环境,就多种泛在无线信号辅助的无缝定位进行了初步实验,给出了一个能够满足大多数无缝定位服务应用的原型框架。 Ubiquitous positioning shows great potential for wireless applications but confro nts lots of fundamentally technical problems. Recent advanced positioning systems and emerging technologies are described, and a novel ubiquitous positioning technology by using the widely available and economically signals of opportunity in urban is proposed. It also include the principles, characteristics, and trends issues in ubiquitous positioning. An initial investigation test was conducted at a typical urban canyon area in Hong Kong. The result shows that the signals of opportunity assisted ubiquitous positioning demonstration prototypes facil itate a variety of wireless and geo-informatics applications.
