对邓小平经济思想的研究，首先就要从整体上把握这一思想的主题及其主要理论层面。本文从理论、历史与现实的结合上，提出邓小平经济思想的主题就是对我国社会主义初级阶段经济关系及其规律的研究，认为邓小平经济思想包含了对社会主义经济制度。

Abstract:The authors point out that we'll first grasp the theme of his thinking as a whole and the level of his main theory if we study Deng Xiaoping' economic thought.From the combination of theory, history and reality, the authors also point out that the subject of Deng Xiaoping's economic thought is the study of the economic relation of our socialist primary stage and its law and think Deng Xiaoping's economic ideas include the three levels for the socialist economic regulations, the econmic system and the economic motion ang the theoretical and scientific exploration of their internal relations.
