文体学是研究语言使用风格的一门科学。文体分析就是应用语言学理论揭示语篇的文体风格与特征。使用文体分析法可以将语篇分析由表层结构分析推进到深层结构分析,由语言形式的分析推进到语言功能的分析,并由此推导语篇的语用功能和语用效果。阐述文体分析的相关理论以及如何将其应用于高级英语语篇分析,更好地提高学生的语篇理解和文学欣赏能力,尤其是得体使用语言的能力。

Stylistics is a branch of linguistic science which studies the characteristics of situationally-distinctive uses of language. Stylistic analysis means revealing text styles and features with linguistic theories. This paper views that stylistic analysis approach can conduct text analysis from surface structure to deep structure, from language form to language function, which helps to derive pragmatic function and efficiency of the text. This paper also explores the application of stylistic analysis approach in advanced English text analysis, which can better promote the students＇ ability of text interpretation and appreciation, esp. the ability of using English appropriately.
