摘要
电影片名翻译,作为一种跨文化的交际活动,不仅涉及两种语言,同时也涉及两种文化;为了使原文等效于译文,依据关联理论、认知与顺应论能更好地理解原文,解释翻译过程中作者-译者-译文读者的三元关系,并通过两种语言与文化的对比,灵活处理文化意象,尽量保持源语中的文化意象,从而更好地顾及读者的认知,达到翻译中的语用等效。
Pragmatics translation aims to take into full consideration the differences between English and Chinese and the uniqueness of the movie title forms and discusses pragmatic strategies for rendering English movie title into Chinese, paying special attention to how the covert meanings and the cultural images in the original could be kept in order to obtain a dynamic pragmatic equivalence in the translation. Specifically, it explores the enlightenment and explanation of movie title (E-C) translation from the theory of relevance, cognition and adaptability. And analyzing some classical movie titles' translation to prove some E-C translation principles in accordance with Chinese mentality, culture acceptance and language habits.
