“玉匣”与“玉衣”义项再考——兼与王仙波先生商榷

Redefinition of "Jade Box" and "Jade Apparel"

关于"玉匣"与"玉衣"的义项,学界在认识上存在一些误区。文章在前人研究的基础上,结合出土文物,纠正"玉匣"仅为"盛玉之匣"的观点,补充梳理"玉匣"义项为:1.汉代皇帝、王侯所用的玉制葬服;2.玉制之匣,用以贮藏珍物;3.盛玉之匣。

There are many mistaken explanations about the semantic meaning of ＂jade box＂ and ＂jade apparel＂ in the academic circle. This paper, based on the studies of predecessor scholars, with proofs from excavated relics, is to correct the narrow difinition of ＂jade box＂ as ＂a box for keeping jade＂, and broarden its meaning to mean-1, jade apparel for dead emperors and lords of the Han Dynasty; 2. box made of jade for keeping precious things; 3. jade-holding box.
