英汉结构歧义共性探究

On Generality of Structural Ambiguity in English and Chinese

大量的语言研究表明:语言具有共性。结构歧义是指句子的各组成部分因不同的组合方式而产生的歧义。结构歧义普遍存在于英汉两种语言中,本文运用现代句法理论的部分分析方法对英汉结构歧义句所反映的共性进行探讨,从而为证实语言共性的存在提供进一步的资料支持。

Language studies show that there does exist linguistic universal.Structural ambiguity is the one resulting from different ways of component combination in a sentence.Structural ambiguity exists in both English and Chinese,which is explored in the paper in terms of syntactic theories so as to prove the existence of linguistic universal.
