理欲并重 儒商互补——论唐人涉商类小说之商业思想文化特征

摘要 唐人小说描绘的商贾世界中,商人形象的义利之别与道德评判之下,反映的是中国传统的主流文化(农本文化)与异质文化(商业文化)这一矛盾体的斗争与调和。这其中,通过道义与利害之间的取舍,商人尽量做到义利两兼;通过仕商关系的重新认定,商人努力追求亦商亦儒。我国古代商业文化在这一特定历史阶段上呈现出鲜明的务实性、较强的政治性,且伴有浓郁的伦理性。其意义的重要性在于透视唐代文人"以末致财,用本守之"的心态,同样显示出国人"本富为上,末富次之"的传统心理。 In the merchants' world in Tang novels, the conflicts and congruities of the contradiction between Chinese traditional mainstream culture ( Agriculture - oriented Ideology) and heterogeneous culture ( Commercial Ideology) are reflected with the judge of merchant image between morality - oriented and profit - oriented. Merchants try to give attention to both value of morality and profit when they make their choice. And merchants also make great efforts to he Confucian merchants as the new relationship between intelligentsia and merchants is recon- ganized by society. During the special period, Chinese ancient commercial culture presents its distinct pragmaticism, political and ethic characters as well. The significance is that it reflects Chinese traditional ideology namely "to get rich with commerce is inferior to get rich with agriculture" in viewing the attitude of the intelligentsia in Tang Dynasty which is "to make profits from market, keep rich by cultivating".
