Factors Affecting the Relevance of Novelty Checking Literatures & Their Countermeasures

Numerous factors affecting the relevance of literatures are discussed. In novelty checking, the factors such as the purpose of novelty checking and the accuracy of the trust deed filled in by the trustee will directly affect the judgement of the novelty checking personnel on the relevance of literatures, thereby affecting the conclusion of the novelty checking report. This article proposes some countermeasures for different impact factors. It points out that the more the novelty checking personnel know about the knowledge of the new discipline they are responsible for, the more complete they know about the novelty checking project, the less the other factors affect their judgement on the relevance of literatures.
