This paper briefly introduced the CERES-Rice models principle,main parameters and relative functions;focused on the model research and application progress at home and abroad;summed up the problems existing in CERES-Rice model research.Finally,the paper prospected the tendency for CERES-Rice model research from four aspects as strengthening the studies on model mechanism,data availability,integration with information technology and interface friendly amity.
