Multiple description coding based on coefficients splitting of discrete wavelet

摘要 在分析离散小波变换后系数特性的基础上,提出了一种基于离散小波变换的多描述编码方法,它通过将离散小波变换后的低频子带的小波系数进行重组赋值产生多描述码流.实验结果表明了该方法的可行性和有效性,在保证较高的编码效率的同时,提高网络传输的鲁棒性,具有一定的抗干扰能力. By analysis on coefficient characteristic after discrete wavelet transform, multiple description coding method based on discrete wavelet transform is proposed, the method generates multiple description bit-stream by restructuring and assigning wavelet coefficients of low frequency sub-band after discrete wavelet transform. The results show that the method is feasible and effect, the method which improves the ability of error resilient as well as the coding efficiency can increase robustness of network transmission.
