国内外语学习动机研究20年:回顾与展望

Retrospect and Prospect of Study on ForeignLanguage Learning Motivation in China Over 20 Years

本文以1990-2008年刊登在国内9种外语类核心期刊上的关于外语学习动机研究的102篇文献为研究材料,回顾了我国近20年外语学习动机研究现状。研究表明:(1)外语学习动机研究在数量上有显著上升趋势;(2)研究内容和研究规模呈现出多视角、多学科、多元化的特点;(3)研究方法步入质化量化相结合的成熟发展阶段;(4)研究对象不平衡,以大学本科生为主。文章最后探讨了我国外语学习动机研究中存在的问题,预测了动机研究的发展趋势。

This paper is a survey of 102 articles published over the past 20 years （1990-2008） in nine core linguistic journals, which focus on the researches of foreign language learning motivation in China. The research findings show： （1） There has been a steady increase in the number of research articles in this field;（2） The research content reveals characteristics of multi-facet, multi-discipline and pluralistic; （3） The research methods come into a mature stage combining quantitative research with qualitative research; （4） Special emphasis has been laid on the study of undergraduates at universities. Finally,the article probes into the problems in this area and predicts the future trend of research on learning motivation.
