COATING TUNGSTEN ON THE SURFACE OF DIAMOND BY THE LIQUID SALT

摘要 在金刚石工具制造技术中,为了提高金刚石与基体的结合性能,对金刚石表面进行了高温盐浴镀钨处理;用X射线衍射分析方法测定了镀层表面结构并作了冲击磨料磨损试验。结果表明:高温盐浴方法不仅使金刚石获得了金属化表面结构,而且不破坏金刚石品质;镀覆后金刚石与金属基体之间的结合良好。盐浴镀钨处理可有效地发挥金刚石优异的抗磨作用。 By the technology of manufacturing diamond tools, for the purpose of strengthening the joint of the diamond and the base metal, the diamond surface was coated by the tungsten with the method of high temperature liquid salt. The X-ray diffraction was used to determine the structure of the coating surface. At last, the shock abrasive wear test was performed. The result has shown that the high temperature liquid salt may produce metallized structure on the diamond surface but also does not damage the diamond quality. The weldability of the metallized diamond and the base metal was excellent. Tungsten coating on the diamond surface by the liquid is available to make the most wear resistance of the diamond.
