摘要
本文的主要观点是:一、《汉字简化方案》的制定是十分认真的,广泛地听取了群众的意见,而不是草率的和独断的。二、简化汉字有利有弊,但是利大于弊。三、推行简化字有利于传承传统文化。四、汉字的简化并不会使传递的信息减化。五、汉字简化和汉字拼音化没有必然的联系。六、"弃简复繁"不可取。七、汉字简化成效显著,利国利民。
The paper consists of eight parts. （1） The Chinese Character Simplification Scheme had taken seriously into consideration opinions from extensive sources; it was not an arbitrary action. （2） Chinese simplified characters have their advantages and disadvantages, but in general advantages prevail over disadvantages. （3） The simplified characters can expedite the inheritance and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture. （4） The simplification of Chinese characters does not simplify information transmitted. （5） There is no necessary connection between Chinese simplification and the Romanization of Chinese characters. （6） Giving up the simplified characters and reusing the original ones will not be workable. （7） The simplification of Chinese characters has been a contributing factor to the nation and people at large.
