摘要
本文阐述《方案》在经历了民族化和拉丁化的探讨后,从研制拟订到正式公布的历程。概述《方案》自颁布实施后,从语文和汉语教学领域,走入中文信息处理领域,至今已遍及社会的各行各业;并从拼写汉语汉字的国内标准成为公认的国际规范。指出目前在汉语拼音教学中存在着三个误区。通过国外对英语拼写改革的实例,阐明作为全社会共同使用的语言文字拼写工具,对《方案》本身的修改调整必须慎之又慎。但汉语拼音在应用领域中亟需进一步完善化和规范化,使汉语拼音在更为广阔的空间发挥更大的作用。
This paper consists of four parts. (1) The Chinese Pinyin System has experienced several nationwide discussions, and each discussion led to some significant modifications. The Chinese Pinyin System of its current shape has become available over a long historical span and through enormous intellectual work. (2) From the issue of the Chinese Pinyin System till now, the system has been used in Chinese teaching to Chinese information processing, and almost all areas in everyday life. Moreover, it has become an international standard. The modification to the system, therefore, must have an international perspective. (3) Three pitfalls in the teaching of Chinese pinyin are pointed out. We should be aware of the relation between alphabet and sound. (4) As a spelling tool of Chinese used by the entire speech community, any modification to the system must be very prudent. Any modification has to be cautiously implemented. The author also proposes the standardization of the system.
