Objective:To explore the value of low-dose CT screening and the reasonable dose in the pelvis diseases of male/female at child-bearing age.Methods:96 patients were recruited in this study. Each patient was scanned in routine dose(210 mA) and, additionally, the low dose(50 mA,25 mA) scan was performed under the permission of the patients.Except the tube current(mA),the other scan parameters were all the same. The differences of CTDI vol(CT dose index) and image quality in different dose were compared. Results:Compared to routine scanning,CTDI vol of 25 mA was 11%,but the differences of the image quality was statistically significant(P〈0.01);While,CTDI vol of 50mA was 22%,but the difference of the image quality had no statistical significance(P〉0.05).Conclusion:Low dose CT scanning(50 mA) can decrease the radiation dose and, also, assure the image quality.
