Higher education in England has been influenced as well as enhanced by classical cultural tradition, characterized dominantly by liberal education and elitism. Meanwhile, it keeps up with temporal change and tries to meet the contemporary need. With reference to the Britain model, we need to critically think through our educational situation, with particular regard to our cultural tradition, educational philosophy, policy-making, pedagogy, research and healthy development.
