The emergence of the Internet has made an increasingly significant impact on international politics. Under the background of globalization and informationalization of international system, cyber diplomacy appears and functions as a new shape of diplomatic activities of different countries. How China should develop cyber diplomacy to gain its national interests has gradually become a very important strategic topic. This article reports on a concise and systematic study of cyber diplomacy and attempts to offer some thinking and suggestions for China＇s planning and implementing cyber diplomacy strategies in the information age.
