The Realistic Significance of the Spirit of Making a Living to Old Northeast China

三百年前,山东、河北等地的居民为了生存,无畏艰难险阻历尽艰辛闯入了关东大地,塑造了可歌可泣的闯关东精神,闯关东精神是对中华民族精神的继承和弘扬,是近代中国移民开发东北的实践中孕育出来的一种具有强大生命力的文化精神,是中华民族精神的重要组成部分。今天,我们在对广大的青少年进行思想政治教育中,在振兴东北老工业基地过程中,它已经成为重要的素材之一。因此,弘扬闯关东精神具有重要的现实意义。

Three hundred years ago, many residents from Shandong, Hebei and other provinces managed to go to the Northeastern parts of China, in spite of difficulties, danger and challenges. They molded the spirit of braving the journey to the Northeast which is the heritage and promotion of national spirit of China and one powerful cultural spirit created by immigrants in the practice of developing the Northeastern parts of China. The spirit of braving the journey to the Northeast is an important part of national spirit of China. Nowadays, it has become important material for children and teenagers ideological and political education, to rejuvenate old industrial bases of the Northeastern parts of China. Therefore, to promote the spirit of braving the journey to the Northeast is of great and realistic significance.
