对汽轮机凝汽设备故障机理进行了分析，应用“信息熵分析法”研究监测信号和故障原因之间的相关性，从而提出了一种提取特征参数的新方法。详细介绍了基于多层感知器研究汽轮机凝汽器故障诊断过程，最后经实例验证表明所设计的故障诊断系统具有良好的诊断性能。
