中国电信核心网络向IMS演进的思路探讨

Discussion on China Telecom’s Core Network Evolution to IMS

随着移动牌照的发放,中国电信真正成为全业务电信运营商。中国电信核心网层面,传统PSTN,固网软交换,移动电路交换,移动软交换等多张核心网络并存。为整合不同的业务和网络,发挥全业务运营的优势,中国电信核心网络向IMS演进是重要的举措。本文介绍了中国电信核心网络现状和IMS发展概况,对核心网络演进的需求进行了分析,并探讨了核心网络向IMS演进的思路。

Through the issue of mobile licenses, China Telecom has trulybecome an all-business telecom operator. At the layer of core network of China Telecom, traditional PSTN, fixed network soft-switch, mobile circuit switching, mobile soft-switch etc. coexist at the same time. In order to integrate various businesses and networks and fully exert the advantage of all-business operation, the evolution to IMS of core network of China Telecom is an important strategy. This paper introduces the current status of core network of China Telecom, IMS development overview, and through analysis of the requirements for evolution of core network, studies the evolution scheme of core network to IMS.
