There were many defects with auxiliary dam construction, and vertical cut-off wall solved them. By analyzing the monitoring data, the conclusion was gotten that the monitoring instruments and measured stress-strain of the cut-off wall were normal, as well, with normal impoundment, the cut-off wall was safe.
