On the Criticism of Zhu Ziqing's Classical Poetics

对中国诗学理论的研究,是朱自清先生功底和见识的集中表现。他深入探讨研究古典诗学的基本途径,并且提出:"诗言志"是中国诗学"开山的纲领";文人眼中的山水实乃一种境界;温柔敦厚的诗教是诗评的传统标准;乐府精神是中国诗歌发展的主流。这是值得我们深思的研究课题和颇有启发性的学术成果。

Zhu Ziqing＇s comprehensive and profound knowledge lies mainly in his study of Chinese poetical theory. He explored deeply the basic way of classical poetics and put forward that： the expression of ideal through poetry was the basic principle of Chinese poetics;landscape in the eyes of scholars was a realm of imagination; the mild poetical doctrine was the traditional standard of poetics; the Han-styled balladic spirit was the developmental mainstream of Chinese poetry. His poetical theory gives us much inspiration and thus, deserves our deep study.
