This paper discusses the characteristics of ultra-thin sand, mudstone complex oil reservoir in Hailaer Basin, and through the forming mechanism of this kind of reservoir, pionting out that ultra-thin sand, mudstone complex oil reservoir can be an exploration target; the key for improving its productivity is by adopting fracturing technique.
