This paper describes the general research situation of Ariidae and their retrieve table combining with the author's investigation and research. The paper presents the geographical distribution of the species and expounds that Indian Western Pacific is their major distribution and the seas of China and Japan are one of the edges of their distribution. The paper discusses the problems of its origin and the scattering of the Ariidae species.
