高校图书馆数字资源建设研究——以常熟理工学院为例

Researches on Building-up of Digital Resources in Libraries of Colleges and Universities:A Case Study of Changshu Institute of Technology

数字资源建设是数字图书馆形成和发展的基础,主要包括自建数据库建设和购买数字化产品。中小型高校图书馆的数字资源建设主要依赖购买市场上比较成熟的数字化产品。常熟理工学院图书馆在数字资源建设过程中存在自建数据库滞后、中外文数据库比例失调等问题,应从加强技术交流、增加资金投入和制定合理的采购计划等方面加强建设。

The building-up of digital resources is the basis for the formation and development of a digital library, which mainly includes the construction of self-built database and purchases of digital products. The library resources in the small- and medium-sized colleges consist mainly of purchased digital products available in the market. There exist some essential problems in the digital library of Changshu Institute of Technology, such as outdated self-buih database and disproportion of database in Chinese to database in foreign languages. To remedy this situation is to improve the building-up of digital resources through further technological exchanges, increasing appropriate procurement plans.
