A New Mathematical Algorithm for Estimating the Parameters of the Muskingum River Flow Routing Model

应用最小二乘原理进行了马斯京根法参数的最优估计。这种数学估计方法避免了常用的试错法的盲目性和不确定性，并具有确定模型参数快速、最优和唯一性等特点。在实际河道洪水演算中取得了较好的应用效果。

In this paper,a mathematical method based on least square algorithm is introduced for estimating the parameters of the Muskingum river flow routing model.Compared with the try-and-error method which has been widely applied,the model parameters to be estimated can quickly reach the most optimal value,and the sole solution can be got for given data set using this algorithm which has been applied in river flow routing with satisfied results.
